My 7 year old daughter got 2 weeks ago a purple colored swelling near hear ear (above jaw bone), later just under the helix at the top of her right ear the same type of swelling appeared. The original swelling near the top jaw bone is starting the disappear, while the one on the helix is getting bigger, and is now a light purple colored bump of around 1- 1.5 cm. It doesn't really hurt, and has some minor itching. So minor flaking of skin as well.

The doctor gave some antibiotics (for 3 days) a week ago, but it seems not to help. What to do?
