What Causes Red Rash Inside The Forearm With Burning Sensation?
Hello -- I awoke two days ago with a red rash on the inside of my forearm. It is about two inches in length and resembles a burn. There is a burning sensation at times, but no blisters. It is slightly raised above the skin. Any idea what this might be?

Hi,
It may be insect bite dermatitis. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. Antihistaminics like cetirizine 10 mg daily,oral steroid in tapering dose and steroid plus antibiotic cream application may be considered.
