I (47years old) have been diagnosed with severe dysmenorrhea, & my last pelvic ultrasound found blood cysts on right ovary & fibroids on & in the uterus & uterine wall. that was in 2012. in the last 2 years I have been experiencing hemorrhoids a week before mensration. that alone concerns me but also the consistency of the issue. sometimes it looks as if it is actual body tissue. then after my cycle I experience blood in my urine for 2 or 3 days and this has a sandy consistency. I do hope that you can provide me with any information that might contribute to my understanding of what is going on. thank you much, Kristina
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Severe dysmenorrhea, chocolate cysts in ovaries, fibroids and hemorrhoid like tissue in the rectum are suggestive of endometriosis. I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated and treated preferably by medical management like progesterone, oral contraceptive pills, GnRh agonist. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health. Dr Deepti Verma
