Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of severe pain in the throat after sneezing. Well there can be many reason for symptoms you mention in query like sore throat( strep throat or viral infection), pharyngitis and acid reflux. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles several times a day , take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and consult ENT specialist for proper examination of the condition . Doctor may order various tests. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with decongestant and expectorant. Doctor may also refer you to gastroenterologist if he/she find problem to be related with acid reflux. You should not sleep immediately after having food. For now eat light meals and avoid spicy and acidic food .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
