I had carpal tunnel surgery and another wrist surgery (at the same time) in early December for numbness and pain. It was healing alright, no issues and everything was better. I did cleaning/mopping on Sunday and ever since my wrist that I had surgery on has been in severe pain. I can't sleep because the sharpness of the pain is so bad. If I rotate it, I get points of intense pain. I can't lift a gallon of milk or anything of weight as the pain is too much to bear in those tasks. When they did the surgery on my wrist, the surgeon said I might need to get a chunk of bone out of my arm because it could be too long in that little ball where the wrist is by the pinky. The numbness has returned as well although not as bad. I've had periods of elbow pain as well AND I've also had surgery on my shoulder and it is acting up a bit too. I'm not sure if this is at all related to any of those, but I've never had pain so bad it kept me from sleeping and it is definitely a sharp pain not a dull pain. I really don't want to go to the doctor if it is just something I can fix with time/brace on my own. But, I don't want to keep losing sleep if it is something bigger than I can fix. Plus, I just moved to this new city right after my wrist surgery and I don't know of a doctor to go to. I am female and 31. I have a computer/desk job.
