What Causes Small Reddish Bumps On My Labia?

I have itchy red bumps, some small clusters of bumps on labia majora and minora. It was itchy two weeks ago. Bumps just appeared, as far as I can tell, about 2-3 days ago. Seemed to be geetting better just before bumps appeared. But now it's not. No vaginal itching and no real discharge noticed. Any ideas? I'm 53, menopausal, but had a period in Nov. The first one in nearly two years. sexually active. Last sex about 2 weeks before itchng began. Have used witch hazel, hydrogen peroxide for releaf, but nothing really works.
