What Causes Spotting For Months And Having A Light Period?

hi..i am single,27 yrs old..having irregular period..last time i got blood everyday,,its like stain everyday,,i used 1 pantiliner a day and its been almost 3months having like that and after a month i got like a normal period 3 days and the next days was not that strong.. and now its almost months i am confuse..can you help my mind to clear.. do i need to get scare? or what shoul i do to make it normal?..please..thank you
