What Causes Spotting Post Menstrual Cycle?

I had my Mona lisa IUD removed on Nov 10, and got my period that day. it was a normal 6-7 days period. then nothing for 4 weeks. after that I got my period, which seemed normal but it after 6-7 days I was spotting dark red for an extra week. a week and a half later I got my period again (19 days after the last one) and again, normal period for 6-7 days, and then dark spotting, still now, 4th day. is this normal?
