What Causes Swelling And Bruising On The Arm After Surgery?

male 74 quad bypass 10 yrs ago type 2 diabetes still active man, his right arm swelled up and became painful with severe bruising under armpit down the underside of his arm to top of hand with a lump in his forearm. this has occurred before and ER diagnoised cumadin poisioning .

The symptoms seem to be related to blood clots.I suggest you to go to the emergency room as soon as possible for further evaluation. A complete blood count and an ultrasound of the arm is needed for further treatment.
