What Causes Tightness In Chest With Difficulty In Breathing?

I was admitted to A & E yesterday with a tight chest and problems breathing, dizziness etc and was told I had had something called an 'svt'. I woke up with it at 4am yesterday morning with it for no reason. This morning I woke again at 2am with the same thing except this time is is still here with me 12 hours later. How can I make it go away?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
SVT means supra ventricular tachycardia.
It is type of arrhythmia (rhythm disturbances in heart) common in young patients.
In my opinion, you should consult cardiologist and start anti arrhythmia drug (diltiazem) for SVT.
Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA) is also a good option for SVT.
So discuss about these and start appropriate treatment.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
