What Causes Tingling In Palm?

I'm a 40-year-old male. I sometime feel tingly in my palm until I can't hold my pen. This symptom happened to me since I was 9 years old. May I know what causes this tingly as I don't feel confortable when it is happening to me. I can't do my works which require me to write and this occurs only to my right palm.
