hello my name is nicole, I am 21 year old female and I am having trouble with my birthcontrol. I have had very painful and heavy periods sence I was 12, to try and fix it my doctor prescribed a birth control pill called Lybrel. I have been on Lybrel now for 2 years and have never had problems with it, when i would miss a day i would spot for maybe a week or so then it would resolve. But lately I seem to be spotting more frequently, I have missed a day but it was about 2 weeks ago I have been takeing my pills every day sence and my spotting seems to be getting more heavy then when it started. I have been getting cramps almost every other day for short periods of time. I am starting to become concerned and questioning if I should take an extra pill to hopefully make the dose stronger and stop spotting. I doubt I am right and would be greatfully thankful if you could give me your expert opinion.
