What Causes White Tissue Like Discharge From The Vagina?

Hello. I ve been having this white tissue like discharge for some time now it doesn t have a bad smell but I also have itching around my vagina. I ran tests and they both said moderate and scanty growth of staph aureus which I have already treated but I still have the discharge and itching till now. What is the cause of this?

Hi,

You seem to have fingal vaginal infection (trichomoniasis) causing your symptoms. You can use candid vaginal creme locally along with strict genital hygiene. If no relief you need oral medicines too.

It's an STD, so both the sex partners need to be treated simultaneously. Mostly oral medicine (Fluconazole) along with vaginal pessaries & local ointment are given to both the partners.

An abstinence is advised till both are free from infection. Please consult a gynecologist for suitable dosage according to severity of infection.
