What Could Cause Blood In Stool?

I'm a student from Taiwan and I just came here a few month so I don't speak Englih very well. I just had blood in my stool. Around 2 month ago I first time had bloody stool and I went to see a doctor(??) but the doctor just gave me some advice and some number of hospitals. It didn't happened again although but my stool hasn't been regular but I haven't gone to the hospital until now. I just had bloodystool again. As last time happened I don't feel any pain except my anus will get hurt if I have big stool. Should I go to the hospital?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
History of bleeding per rectum with pain on passing big stools is suggestive of fissure in ano and you have got this problem again after a gap of 2 months.
This means it is the hard stool that must be causing hte fissure in ano.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Sitz bath in a tub with warm water.
Laxatives to keep the stools soft.
This problem may get over and will not recur till you get constipation/hard large stool.
But it is always better to get an clinical examination, per-rectal digital examination and Ano-proctoscopy to get a confirmed diagnosis so that the most proper treatment can be instituted.
I find this answer helpful
