Hello,
Irregular periods is commonly due to poor general health (anemia), stress, thyroid issues, excessive exercise, PCOS, IUD, use of different birth control pills, peri-menopausal phase, fibroid, endometriosis, etc.
Frequent urination with abdominal cramps is indicative of UTI. However, such symptoms can also be due to
overactive bladder, cystitis,
kidney infection, etc.
You are suggested to visit a gynecologist or a
urologist and get clinically examined. Get CBC, Urinalysis (R/E, C/S) and other required Imaging tests done to detect the pathology causing you discomfort. In the meantime, avoid addictions if any. Stay well hydrated & well nourished. You can take antacids and spasmol (spasmoproxyvon), one SOS to get relieve from abdominal cramps. Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected and the severity of your clinical condition.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
