What Could Long, Heavy Periods Suggest?

Hi, So I am on my 9th day of my cycle , usually it lasts up to 5 days, I elieve it came early and it started out brown and spotty with bad cramps, it just seems like its getting heavier and not lighter, I have not had sex since june 1 , I dont take birth control and never had irregular periods besides this one, what should i do?
