What Do Parasite Infestation On The Body Indicate?

My brother has been obsessing over what he thinks are parasites or worms in his body. He has been to a doctor who prescribed him a potent medicine to rid him of any parasites but he continues to believe he still has them. He showers incessantly and will put a wet/dry vac to his arm for hours at a time. He has a very stressful job. His wife died when his two children were approx. 5 and 7 and he has never remarried. His 21 year old son does not work, stays in room, etc. We want to believe him and he appears fine in all other ways except his obsession with this. I think it s in his head but he is STUBBORN and will not consider the possibility....suggestions?

As you have well mentioned that your brother has already been gone and undergoing mental trauma and is possessed with the thought of having worm infestation in spite of proper management.
You need to take him to the Psychiatrist as your insistence has not and will not help.
