What Do Visible Veins On Tongue Indicate?

My daughter is 7 and she was bring silly and sticking her tongue out at me earlier and I noticed that she has a very visible, very dark purple vein on both sides under her tongue. I've looked at everybody else in the house and none of us have this. Does it indicate something is wrong?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

As per your query the dark purple veins under the tongue one on either sides are not any abnormal finding and are normal anatomical structures known as Lingual veins..
They may appear dark in some individuals and can be dilated or tortuous but are not harmful and you need not to worry about it as your daughter is absolutely normal..
