What Does Burning Sensation In The Lower Abdomen Indicate?

I have a cramping, burning sensation in my lower abdomen around the mons pubis location. The pain is pretty significant. I don t think this is associated with GI issues, as it s too low. I had my appendix removed last week, but it did not burst. I m curious as to why I have this pain, and if it could be a bladder infection, although I don t have the typical urgency or burning when urinating.

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Your pain is not suggestive of bladder infection... it would cause burning while urination (as you rightly think) &frequency of urination.
Your pain can be due to nurogenic cause due to involvement of -
-periferal nerve supling affected part .... (being traumatised /entrapped instiches )during the procedure..It should resolve within 2-3 weeks .. with removal of the stiches/healing of the surgucal wound. OR lumber spinal nerve involvement due to disc problem ...could be another cause.
Suppliments of B12 wouldhelp the healing.
You should consult your surgeonin this respect for actual assessment of the problem followed by specific treatment
Thanks.
