Hi Dear,

welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern.

Thanks for your query . As per your query you have nasal congestion along with cough and headaches. Symptoms are pointing towards a condition known as upper respiratory track infection like sore throat or pharyngitis. Exposure to cold environment or cold beverage can also exaggerate the condition . I would suggest you to again consult your ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may perform laryngoscopy , CT scan of sinuses or viral culture test . He/she may prescribe further antibiotic course and stronger antibiotics. I would also suggest you to give her steam several times a day which will relieve the symptoms very soon , complete course of antibiotics or antiviral prescribed by doctor properly and take healthy diet. For now do warm saline gargles and take steam twice a day to relieve the congestion.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
