What Does Redness On The Face While On Cipro For UTI Indicate?
Older female has flushed face(red) and slight delusion. Already taking cipro for urinary tract infection(for past 6 days). Has had AFIB last few years and takes meds for this, and meds for high blood pressure. Any thoughts? Take her to A walk-in care? Thanks.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Redness on the face may due to winter blash or heat rash etc. But it may be due to Ciprofloxacin also may present rash , joint pain and sore throat etc. Use moisturizer, keep in temperature well maintained room. If symptoms not improved please stop the drug under your physician advice and he treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
