What Does Sharp Pain In The Lower Left Groin Area Near The Inner Thigh Indicate?

I’ve been having pain in my left lower groin area near my inner thigh. Sometimes it’s a sharp pain. It’s not from being on my period which what I thought it was from but the pain started before that. It doesn’t hurt when I put pressure on it. What could it be?

Hi,

Where is the exact location of the lesion?

Groin area pain may be due to herpes simplex or chancroid or polyps or vulvitis or urethritis or hemorrhoids or a hernia etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Please consult your gynecologist, she will examine locally and systemically then treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
