What Does Sharp Pain In The Neck And Shoulder Indicate?

I been having sharp pain that radiates in neck, shoulder, and shoulder blades. I have been to many drs, myofascial dr. if I am spelling it right. also I been to an ent because I thought I was having a inner ear problem because it started after I was taking a shower and the pain started in my left ear. I also seen my primary dr. this started over 3 years ago still having pain. they took a xray and said I had inflammation in my neck. sometimes it radiates in front of my chest and shoulder blade on the left side also.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It looks to be more of cervical spondylosis. Pain killers occasionally and collar belts or neck belts immobilizing the neck would go for a better rest. Do not travel much on two-wheelers.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
