What Does Swollen Lymph Glands In Groin Area Indicate?
Hello..i have a 2small lumps in my right groin lymph gland,i also have 2 open wounds on my lower right leg and ankle. Until recently the wounds were infected but with anti biotic treatment the infection is gone. No other lymph glands have been effected except the right leg. My home care nurse(for the leg wounds) is convinced the lymph glands are swollen due to the leg wounds and said infection. Would both sides be swollen if it were lymphoma or is it possible or even likely that it could be lymphoma or most likely caused by the leg. signed stressed out guy
HI Well come to HCM With history of would in leg and later developed swelling in upper part of leg in thigh region then this could be lymph nodes due to infected wound, such condition need to be kept under close medical supervision, because infection may reach to lymph node, some time this may cause, pus formation very rapidly, I would advise you to have following medicines 1) Tab Cefdinir 300 mg twice in day for 5 days 2) Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three times in day take care for good hygiene, hope this information helps, take care.
