What Does This Brain MRI For Memory Loss While Having Occipital Neuralgia Indicate?

I am a 58 year old female.I developed occipital neuralgia on my left side about 3 months ago along with eye twitching on my left side.i have had 2 nerve blocks already. I also gave been having memory problems the last few months and Had an MRI earlier this week that showed mild volume loss,what could this mean? Seeing a neuropsychologist for testing but have to wait until February.having very difficult time at work concentrating and working as I have for years,forgetting a lot of things,making errors.please advise.

Symptoms you describe about cognitive issues and MRI findings may suggest mild cognitive impairment, or early dementias. Occipital neuralgia doesn't relate to these symptoms. So, my advice is to see a Neurologist and to discuss with him about your issues.
