What Does Tortuosity Colon In The Colonoscopy Suggest?
just had colonoscopy today they gave me the report it said moderatleysevere diverticulosis and a tortuosity colon what does this mean also 2 polyps removed
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Tortousity colon, means the colon has twisted or bended. 2. This twisting or bending is probably due to diverticulum and polyps. 3. Along with colonoscopy, they have also resected two polyps hoping for improvement. If symptoms still persists, diverticulum excision might be necessary. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
