What Is Circular Thing On Foot That Hurts When Pressure Is Applied?

I have had this circular thing form on the bottom of my foot... i wouldn't say its a callus, because when i get out of the shower, its soft... it's not even a full circle because its broken in the middle... sometimes when i put pressure on it, it hurts, and sometimes when i relief pressure from on it, it hurts... what is it??
