What Is Suitable To Reduce Weight While Taking Thyroxine?

Hi,i am 27 Years old (female)and planning to get married shortly, but my weight is 72 Kg,also i am thyroid patient and taking thyroxine 100 mcg, would like to know if there is any tablet which can reduce my weight before marriagewithout side effects..

First you may want to make sure that your thyroid hormone levels are optimized since low levels may be associated with weight gain or difficulty with weight loss.

Normally medication is only prescribed above a BMI above 30 or a BMI of 27 or greater (if the person has conditions such as diabetes, high cholesterol or high blood pressure).
BMI is weight for a particular height. You can calculate it with online calculators using your height and weight.
Medication is used along with changes in diet and physical activity.

If your BMI is not in this range , then you would want to try changing your diet and activity.
If you are not sure what to do on your own then you can consider a nutritionist who would be to give dietary advice.
