What Is The Medication For Opening Sinus Passages?
Good evening, I can t breathe through my nose due to congestion from a cold. I took Alka-Seltzer Plus Night Severe Cold, Cough And Flu liqui-gels (which have a decongestant) about an hour ago and I still can t breathe through my nose. I don t have any nose spray in my medicine cabinet. Any suggestions on how to quickly open my sinus passages so that I may sleep? Many thanks, Victoria
Understamding your concern. As per your query you are suffering from sinus infection which is leading to blockage of sinuses which is leading to sinusitis / granular pharyngitis. You need not to worry about it.. You should visit ENT specialist once and get paranasal sinus X-ray done to check extent and level of infection. You should start medication once diagnosis is made out. You should drink plenty of water. You should take antobiotic for 5 days. Take anti inflammatory drugs such as Sinarest along with this. You should put nasal sprays in nostris. Avoid use of cold liquid substances. Take steam inhalation Apply mist humidifiers in room. Avoid oily food. Take diet rich in multivitamins. You should gargle 2-3 times daily.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
