What Is The Numbness In My Chin During Cold Weather?

Hi, I'm a 50-year-old woman in generally excellent health. I am a professional musician and have some diagnosed carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands, and recently have had a rotator cuff issue diagnosed, also. It has just gotten really cold where I live, and I noticed that my chin gets numb when I go outside. I remember now that this was starting to happen last winter, too. I just googled it, and was amazed to find 'numb chin syndrome', but it was scary, and I'm hoping that's not what I have. The numbness is definitely related to the cold. I hope you can help. Thank you!
