Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

According to her symptoms, she needs arthroscopic surgery to repair meniscus tear. Any amount of meniscus tear should be repaired if patient is no able to bear weight orally walk and in constant pain. So better to consult arthroscopic surgeon and discuss all these. She will definitely need surgery and she will mostly improve after meniscus repair.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
