What Is The Reason For Fluid Build Up In The Body After A Mastectomy?

This is more of a post surgery question. After a c-section and 3 Post mastectomy reconstruction surgeries, I had a large build up of fluids that built up to the point of surgery to release it. Is there a syndrome or reason my body would be reacting this way to deep incisions?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
It’s quite common after mastectomy and it is called as lymphadoema.
Most of the resolve spontaneously without treatment.
If swelling persist, you can consult a general surgeon and get evaluated.
Wishing you good health
Thanks
