What Is The Treatment For Gitelman S Syndrome?

I am struggling with low potassium due to Gitelman s Syndrome. Was in hospital this weekend symptomatic with chest pressure, shortness of breath and profuse sweating - Potassium was 3.1; had stress echo, CXR and received potassium IV to bring up to 3.8. Discharged next day (Sunday) and back in hospital Tuesday with extreme weakness, fatigue, and Potassium 3.4; received another 4 bags of potassium; now home; supposed to have labs drawn again today and see my internist tomorrow; complicated in that I have asthma, Sjogren s Syndrome, OA, fibromyalgia, on b/p meds (Tiazac) and eplerenone, skelaxin, etc. Oral Potassium is not tolerated by me GI and reflux. I have had Lap Nissen fundiplication for severe GERD and am still on Prevacid and Aciphex. I need to get back to work -- any ideas -- I feel like a balloon that has been popped -- no energy or appetite and extreme fatigue.
