What Is The Treatment For Numbness , Fatigue And Lower Back Pain?
hello! i have been having low back pain for quite sometime now, and i think its getting worse. The pain is no longer confined to the back area (right side), but i felt like its radiating to the right abdominal area too. The pain can be described as if the muscles are very fatigued. i have not felt any numbness. I find it difficult to find a comfortable sleeping position. I have a moderate lumbar scoliosis, and i noticed that pain started when i started gaining weight..please help.
Dear- thanks for using our system and will give you my medical opinion about your problem. Low back pain is one of the most common causes of visiting the doctor . Most of the time is related to spinal stenosis, arthritis and bulging disc.Overweight aggravates it due to the pressure over the nerve and vertebrae. In addition to this, you have scoliosis that makes it difficult to find a comfortable position. I recommend you to loose weight, start exercise that will improve muscle strength of the back, use an orthopedic or hard mattress and a back support if lifting heavy things. If it doesn't improve, you might need an MRI of lumbosacral for further evaluation of your problem. Dr.Sara
