I am 50 years old female. I have had positional vertigo 5 times since I was 17 yrs. old. For the last 2 times they did the therapy where they lay me down and get the crystals to move back into place and it worked! Yesterday, I had a bad epidsode while driving. I suddenly got extremely dizzy, felt like I was going to pass out, had a hard time thinking, hot, going to throw up and my right leg started shaking uncontrollably, my left eye felt weird, and I felt fuzzy in my thinking. Had just eaten some bread and it felt like it was stuck in my chest. Ended up throwing up all the way to the hospital after I called 911. The gave me valuim, benadryl and something else that worked. After being at the hospital for an hour or more I felt like I woke up in my thinking and was able to talk regularly. About 2 yrs. ago, I also had an episode where I got a bad headace, nausia, weak, sweat so bad I soaked my papers at my desk. Went to the hospital, ended up not being able to move any part of my body for 2 hours, threw up to. I could hear what the doctor's were saying but couldn't speak or open my eyes. I was to weak. Then woke up after 2 hours and was fine. They kept me overnight. CAT scan and MRI, ekg and blood tests done. They showed that I have had some iscemia sometime in my past, not sure when, my heart was fine, I was a little low in Phosphurus and iron levels. They were not sure what happened. Said it would have to happen a few more times to know for sure. Any ideas what is going on with me? Usually I'm pretty healthy. I do have high blood pressure and take the hydro......pills daily.
