I am 27 and m married for 2 years.. I have no child. I missed my period by 7 days.i went to doctor to confirm if m pregnant my test were negative then she advised me to take follic acid tablet. after taking tablet on the very next day i had my periods, how?

Since your pregnancy test was negative you were having delayed periods only.Doctor suggested you to take folic acid which helps in baby's brain development thinking that you might be pregnant and it may be positive later. It is just a coincidence to have periods the next day.
