What Leads To Severe Fatigue And Tiredness In Children?
My 13 year old son is tired all the time. It is May here in the Washington DC area and the pollen is bad. But this has been going on off and on this entire school year. He will come home from school and fall asleep on the couch for 2 hours. Should I be worried?

Excessive tiredness in child needs to be investigated. I suggest you to consult your physicians for general physical examination and routine investigations like complete blood count, liver function tests, renal function tests. Tiredness can be due to anemia. Allergens like pollen can cause fever and can lead to tiredness.
