What Medication Is Suggested For Cold And Cough ?
Hi!I am 27 weeks pregnanat and i got cold.During the night i am coughing so much and i cant sleep.I ma afride my baby sufering so much .I got from my doctor syrop mucolyte but i am not sure i can use this one in my sytuation.Please tell me it is safe for me just now.Thank you

Syrup mucolyte consists of Ambroxol which is a mucolytic agent.Usually it is advisable to avoid its use during the first trimester of pregnancy.
But i would suggest you to avoid it throughout pregnancy.You can take pencillin or cephalosporin antibiotics,since you have severe cough.
