Hello,

Since your husband has history of herpes and you are allergic to condoms, a difference in intimacy is natural. Many marry for company not for sex or to make babies. You can enjoy nature, adventures and go hiking together. Sex is just a part of life. Even if you use condoms, both HSV 1 and HSV 2 are contagious. Condoms can reduce the risk of spreading genital herpes. However, there are other parts of the body that get susceptible to infections. You can try polyurethane condoms (made of plastic not rubber), Polyisoprene condoms, female condoms or lamb skin condoms.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
