What Would Be The Small Patches Of Dry Skin On Upper Thigh?

I have a small patch of very dry skin on my inner, upper thigh near (but not on) my bikini line. It's been there for a couple of months and isn't going away. It doesn't itch most of the time, but sometimes it does - sometimes it's drier or redder than at other times. I'm concerned it might be some kind of fungal infection, since it seems chronic? I just finished a job at a summer camp where I was hot/sweaty/swimming in a lake/interacting with small children/changing in a locker room every day. I'm female, 22, 5'2, 110 lbs.
