Why Do I Get Tingling Sensations While Sleeping Without An Ambien?

I try to go to sleep no matter if it s in bed, in a chair, in my car, anywhere. Right when my mind is at ease I feel like I be a bit and have tingling Sensations. But if I take an Ambien I can sleep. If I do not I cannot sleep. I work in a factory 8 to 12 hours a day.

Hi,

Ambien is having Zolpidem. It is a benzodiazepine group of drug. It helps in sleep initiation. It is usually given in anxiety.

So in my opinion, you should definitely consult a psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions. Try to identify the stressor in your life and start working on its solution.

Counselling plays a very important role along with anxiolytic drugs like Ambien. You can definitely taper down Ambien with the help of counselling.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
