Why My Period Is Coming Late?

i am currently taking noriday contraceptive pill, i have not had a period like usual and am over 10 days late, ive been having weird fluttering in my stomach and aches, ive done a pregnancy test just to be sure and it is negative, is it normal to not have a period whilst taking this pill?
