Will Levonorgestrel Still Offer Protection From A Pregnancy Despite The Condom Breaking?

I had unprotected sex and ended up buying the "Next Choice" emergency contraceptive. A day or 2 later, I had sexual intercourse and this time, with my luck, the condom broke. I've been irregular with my menstrual cycle since I stopped taking birth control about 6 months ago, and now I have what seems like a the beginning of a menstrual cycle. Would the levonorgestrel still be in my system to prevent a pregnancy with the condom breaking? And could I possibly be pregnant if I'm showing signs of a period?
