Will Having IBS Cause Cramping In The Right Lower Abdomen?

Hi, I have IBS and over the last few days i've had a cramping sensation on the right lower abdomen, towards the appendix. If i press around that area i hear a 'squelching sound' and I have a dull ache in the right side nearly all the time. I also think i may be constipated but i'm not sure if its related to my IBS?
