18-20 Year Old Shepherd, Last Two-three Months, Some Hind-quarter Mobility

18-20 year old shepherd, last two-three months, some hind-quarter mobility problem, staggering, eyes- possible gla'coma/blue. still recognizes us. Today- seizure - couldn't get up, friend and I 'slung-moved' him to covered/dry warmer area. (small seizures continued for an hour or so) last month same, yet always recovered, still (continued with some and bowel incontinence) Present condition: resting- no lower body-movement, gums reddened, no pain/ this meaning reflexive response only. Does respond to voice with lil' head movement, body kept warm- (blanketed) I do think it is his time, just wanted some comfort/advice? I've has many a dog (I'm 50) and sat with many that 'crossed-over' , now: just don't have it in me to try move him in a sling for heroics- regardless what the friend thinks. maybe just a lil' advice?
