3 Drs With 3 Different Answers. My 5 Year Old

3 Drs with 3 different answers. My 5 year old son started with sore throat 6 days ago. Went to pediatrician on Thursday and told strep test negative but treating as such. Initial complaint of stomach pain as well. One isolated vomit at doctor office Thursday. No fever at that time. Started amoxicillin and Tylenol/Motrin. He got worse that night. Fever (100), lethargic, enrolling in the sockets, twitching and unable to answer unspoken to. All he wants to do is sleep. I took him to the after hours clinic but they said he needed the ER. They said laryngitis, possible strep or possibly pneumonia. They did not do a chest pray.
It has been 5 days on meds, minimal improvement. Should I take him back in asap or wait it out?
