67 Yr Old Female With Quick Onset Of Sharp, Tearing,

67 yr old female with quick onset of sharp, tearing, burning pain in non-dominant hand: in wrist and fingers especially thumb. No injury caused by fall. Unable to grasp, without pain i.e. turn faucet on, twist wrist, hang arm down to side. Unrelenting pain since March. Dug up wrist brace, which does immobilize wrist/fingers. Tried a lidocaine presc. Patch tha helped. Allergic to all pain killers. Relafen does not help. How long til this flare up goes away. What do you recommend
