About 2 Weeks Ago, I Felt A Slight "pop" In

About 2 weeks ago, I felt a slight "pop" in the center of my left palm; no unusual activity caused it, just gripping or lifting something, I think. Since then, there has been increasing burning/tingling in my hand, gradually spreading up my middle finger and down through my wrist, now extending to my elbow. The top side of my hand, at times, feels cold, while the bottom side is a dull (sometimes more intense) burning/stinging. Like when you hit your "funny bone." Could this be carpal tunnel or something similar?
