About 6 months ago, I stopped eating meat so my diet has changed quite significantly. I also began using my fitness pal to monitor what I was eating specifically so I could monitor my nutrients, irons, and proteins. About 3 months ago, I started to also monitor my caloric intake and limit it to approx 1260/day in an attempt to lose weight. Last month I also started to do some light circuit/weight training 2 days a week and lane swimming (45 min) 3 days a week.
I have noticed that my menstrual cycle has become irregular and much lighter. It also lasts much longer when it does come. I am very used to predictability... Both on when to expect it... And what to expect. I imagine that these changes would affect my body, but I am not sure at what point this should concern me.
