About A Month Ago, I Hit My Elbow Very Hard

About a month ago, I hit my elbow very hard on hard door corner. It was very painful, I had a bruise for awhile. It kept on hurting, but I didn't see a Dr. I finally went yesterday, because I thought maybe I cracked a bone. I just went to Urgent Care, since it was close and open... Anyway, she said x-ray looked good except for some swelling. SO she thought, I might have torn a ligment. How long will this take to heal? She gave me naproxen for the swelling and inflammation...
